1920年中华民国开国留念背嘉禾“壹枚”铜币一枚，CCC-660，铸造工艺差强人意，出处议论纷纷，或为山西铜元厂开端或树立之前的试制币，亦或是军阀割据时期，为牟利或私筹军饷，模仿山西铜元“壹枚”私造之品。

1911年辛亥革命取得胜利，次年即1912年元月宣告中华民国树立。这也标志着两千年的封建君主准则的结束，我国前史开展敞开了新的篇章。为了留念中华民国的树立，在‘’公布的暂时大总统令‘’中提出要‘另刊新模，鼓铸留念币’，为此新政府特意规划铸造中华民国开国留念十文铜币。一为留念民国树立，二为替代前清时期发行的铜元，它和前清铜元最大的区别是将反面龙纹改为稻穗组成的嘉禾纹，正面以双面穿插的旗号图画为主。此刻铜元正式改名为铜币。

因为双旗币产生于民国时期，民国在我国前史上只是存在了几十年的时刻，因而，在混乱不安、国内战争频发的期间内，钱币在履历了无量的年月之后，仍然能够无缺地保留下来，实属不易，具有很高的文物保藏价值、前史文化价值以及艺术品鉴价值。
